The GPRA

The GPRA is the Provisional Government of the Algerian 

Republic which was the government in exile during the 

french occupation. It was founded in 1958 to 1961.it was set up

first in Egypt from 1958 to 1960 then moved to Tunisia from

1960 to 1961.

The purpose of the creation of the GPRA was to get acceptance 

and recognition from the world about the Algerian case as

well as tobe the only representative of the Algerian people.the 

GPRA succeeded and it gained recognition from many

countries such as Syria,Egypt,Lebanon and Jordan...
